Dave F is currently trying to be modern and update the page, Monday 18th September 2017. “Patience is for people with too much time on their hands”

Gerry and Sandra McLaren started this event in 2007 as a fun run to raise money for local charities, and it has been run from Powis Arms, Lydbury North, Shropshire, ever since. It is now an official event run under the FRA rules.

In true fell running fashion the Pub has an excellent range of real ales, ciders, or for softer people ..lager.

All the people that assist in the running of this event are volunteers, the marshals, timekeepers, etc. giving their time on this Sunday entirely for free.
